Some of the information needed to properly cite a dictionary entry may include:
- Author of the Entry (If There is One)
- Title of the Entry
- Name of the Encyclopedia
- Edition Number (If Any)
- Date of the Edition
- Other Publication Information
Volume and page numbers are not necessary because the entries in the source are arranged alphabetically and therefore are easy to locate.
